IT and AI · built on an IT firm running since 1987
We make your work come out the same every time, then we make it run itself.
Most business problems are not people problems. The same job gets done three different ways by three different people, so it comes out different every time, and everybody spends the day fixing what should have been right the first time.
Your job is running your business and looking after your customers. Ours is the technology that makes the work go smoother.
What we actually do
Three things, in plain words
No jargon, because the jargon is where the money goes missing. If somebody cannot explain what they are doing to you in one sentence, they are charging you to be confused.
01
We make it the same every time
We watch how the work really happens, not how the manual says it happens, and then we set one clear way to do it so it stops depending on who happens to pick it up.
02
We make it run itself
Once a job is the same every time, software and AI can do the boring parts of it overnight, without anybody having to remember, and without anybody having to be paid to copy things between screens.
03
We keep it safe and working
Computers, accounts, backups, and the security side, all handled, so that when something goes wrong you usually hear it from us rather than from a customer.
Start here, free
We make growth clear, with a blueprint that fits your business
Start with the one chapter that matches the problem costing you most, and ignore the other nine until that one is done. Each chapter is a short list of things to check, with room to write the decision beside each one, and a plain definition of done at the end. It saves as you go, nothing is sent anywhere, and it is yours whether or not you ever hire us.
THE TEN QUESTIONS
Why isn't the phone ringing, and nine more like it
Getting customers, keeping them, finding good people, getting off the 70-hour week, building systems, cash flow, beating competitors, scaling without breaking, and building a business that runs without you.
HOW IT WORKS
Tick it, write beside it, keep it
Every item has a box and a note line for the decision, the name, the number, the owner, or the next step. All 213 are there as a reference for later, but no one is meant to work them in order or in one sitting.
How the work flows
Three steps, and you see something after the first one
Nobody should have to buy a six-month programme to find out whether we are any good. The first step produces a thing you keep either way.
STEP ONE
We watch the work
We sit with whoever actually does the job and write down how it really happens, including the steps that never made it into the manual. You get that map whether or not you hire us.
STEP TWO
We set one clear way
We cut the steps that do not earn their place, write down the way that works, and teach it, so the job stops depending on who is doing it that day.
STEP THREE
We hand the boring half to software
Once the job is steady, the repetitive parts move to software and AI, and we keep watch on the whole thing so you hear about a problem from us rather than a customer.
What changes
What this looks like in your actual week
Before
- The same job gets done three different ways, so you cannot tell what a good one looks like.
- Your best person is the only one who does it right, so nothing happens while they are out.
- Somebody spends their morning copying numbers from one screen into another screen.
- You find out something broke when a customer tells you.
After
- There is one clear way to do it, written down, so a new person has something to learn from.
- The work comes out the same whether your best person is there or not.
- The copying is gone, because it happens on its own overnight.
- You hear about most problems from us rather than from a customer.
If you're not growing, you're getting smaller.
The work that keeps going wrong is where the growth went.Honest fit
Is this you, or is it not
We would rather tell you no now than take your money and tell you no in three months.
This works well if
- You have somewhere between a few and a few dozen people, and the work is repetitive.
- You already know which part of the week is a mess, even if you cannot prove it yet.
- You want fewer mistakes more than you want a new piece of software.
This is not for you if
- You want AI because it sounds good in a meeting, since we will not sell you that.
- Every job you do is genuinely one of a kind, because then there is nothing to standardize.
- Nobody on your side can spare an hour to show us how the work really runs.
Common questions
The things owners actually ask us
Do I have to replace the software I already use?
Almost never. Most of what we do is making the tools you already pay for talk to each other and get used the same way by everyone. Replacing things is expensive and disruptive, so it is the last resort rather than the opening move.
Is this going to cost me people their jobs?
That is not what we sell, and it is not what we have seen it do. The work we hand to software is the copying, the chasing, and the retyping, which is the part your people already hate. They get their day back for the work only a person can do.
How long before I see anything?
You get the map of how one process really runs within the first couple of weeks, and that alone usually shows an owner something he did not know. Making a job steady takes longer, and automating it comes after that, in that order.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many processes you want fixed and how tangled they are, so we will not pretend there is one number. The first look at one process is free, and after that you get a fixed price for a defined piece of work rather than an open-ended hourly bill.
What if my business is too small for this?
If the same job gets done more than a few times a week, it is big enough to be worth making consistent. If every job you do is genuinely one of a kind, we will tell you this is not for you.
Who is actually doing the work?
We are an IT and AI practice built on a long-running IT firm, so the people who set up your systems are the people who keep them running. You are not handed to a call centre after the sale.
Bring us one process that keeps going wrong
Tell us about a single job in your business that comes out differently every time. We will map how it actually runs today and show you what it would take to make it come out the same, and you keep that map whether or not you hire us.
